Technology, delivered
like it matters.
Some technology companies sell products. Some sell hours. The IT Experience sells outcomes: environments that work, problems that stay solved, and a partner who answers when it matters.
We sell solutions, not components.
An owner-led practice. That structure is deliberate.
The IT Experience has been in full operation since 2011, managing the infrastructure, endpoints, networks, and security posture of organizations across the Northeast that cannot afford for technology to be the thing holding them back. We design environments, we run them, and we stand behind them, from the server room to the front door access panel.
When you reach out, the person who responds is the one who architected your environment, knows its history, and carries direct responsibility for its health. There is no tier one, no ticket-queue purgatory, and no explaining your setup to a stranger. Relationships built this way have kept clients with us for well over a decade, through site expansions, leadership transitions, and every generation of technology in between.
Behind that single point of contact sits a vetted network of trusted partners we engage for large projects and specialized work. Most of our clients never meet them, and they prefer it exactly that way: one call, one relationship, one party accountable for the whole outcome. We orchestrate what happens behind the curtain so you never have to manage vendors, chase subcontractors, or referee companies pointing fingers at each other. That is our job, and it is precisely the job our clients hired us to take off their hands.
The complete operational lifecycle.
Our managed services cover your environment end to end: the daily work that keeps things running and the long-horizon work that keeps you ahead of it.
Day to Day
The steady operational work your team feels every week:
- End user support that reaches a person who knows your environment
- Infrastructure and network management
- Endpoint care across your fleet
- Coordination with your software vendors, on your behalf
Over the Horizon
The work that shapes where your environment goes next:
- Project delivery and site buildouts
- Surveillance and access control
- Structured cabling
- Multi-year capital planning
Planning estimates when you're budgeting. Firm quotes when there's an actual purchase to make. No surprises between the two.
One local relationship. A clear picture.
Modern environments are rarely run by one party alone. Many of our clients operate within larger organizations, where cloud platforms and identity systems are managed at a corporate level while we manage everything on the ground that connects to them.
Our clients value having one local relationship that makes the whole picture simple: one call, a clear answer on what can be handled directly and what routes to a corporate team, and someone who carries the issue to the right owner instead of leaving it between organizations. Corporate stakeholders value it for the same reason. Clear boundaries, clean handoffs, and no finger-pointing are what make these partnerships work.
Six practices, standard on every managed environment.
Always Current
Every managed device carries our management agent, which inventories, monitors, and patches operating systems and third-party applications automatically. No one has to remember to click update.
Defended in Depth
Managed detection and response on every endpoint, protective web filtering, and centralized security telemetry, kept searchable for active investigation and archived well beyond it.
Built to Recover
Backups are maintained in isolated, immutable form. Ransomware cannot encrypt what it cannot reach, and a recovery point that cannot be tampered with is the difference between an incident and a catastrophe.
Access, Controlled
Multi-factor authentication and single sign-on across our platforms, secure purpose-built channels for credentials and sensitive documents, and emergency access paths that are monitored, audited, and tightly controlled.
Fully Accounted
Every action in a managed environment runs through our ticketing system. Internal incident response procedures govern how events are identified, escalated, and communicated. Reporting is available on request.
Documented, Always
We maintain a living knowledge base of processes and procedures for every managed client, so the institutional memory of your environment is captured and current rather than living in anyone's head.
Nothing reaches your environment that we have not already run on our own.
We run our own house first.
Internally, we run on the same platform stack we deploy for clients, and every update or change lands on our systems before it lands on any fleet. We encounter the rough edges so you do not.
On production systems with active users, diagnostic work precedes change, and nothing is deployed at scale that has not been tested first. While it may be a slower way to work, it's the only way we trust.
